The eagerly anticipated reunion of Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani is set for Masti 4, marking their comeback together on screen after seven years. The trio is gearing up for the production of Masti 4 this summer, under the direction of the acclaimed Milap Zaveri, aiming to recapture the essence that originally endeared the Masti series to audiences.
In a recent announcement, which included the unveiling of the movie’s logo, the team behind Masti 4 shared their excitement about revisiting the blend of humor and charm that has characterized the series. Milap Zaveri expressed his gratitude for being chosen to direct the latest installment, acknowledging the opportunity as a significant honor bestowed upon him by the franchise’s original creators, Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria, along with new producers Amar Jhunjhunwala, Shikha Bajaj, and Waveband Production.
Milap praised the leading trio for their lasting impact on the franchise over the past two decades, highlighting Vivek Oberoi’s exceptional talent, Aftab Shivdasani’s innovative contributions, and Riteish Deshmukh’s comedic prowess. He emphasized his personal connection with the actors, looking forward to directing them in this new venture filled with laughter and wild escapades. Masti 4 follows the successful path laid by its predecessor, the original Masti film, which was a box office hit in 2004. The film underwent transformations with its sequels, Grand Masti and Great Grand Masti, but promises to return to its roots with Masti 4, offering a fresh narrative infused with romance, humor, and adventurous mishaps. Produced by Indra Kumar, A. Jhunjhunwala, Ashok Thakeria, and S. K. Ahluwalia, Masti 4 is poised to recreate the magic and laughter of the original while embarking on a new comedic journey.
