Prabhas, the PAN India star, has made a triumphant return with Salaar, an action drama directed by Prasanth Neel, which has garnered over 600 crores at the box office. While the Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions of Salaar are already streaming on Netflix, the Hindi dubbed version has just made its debut on Disney Plus Hotstar, almost two months after its theatrical release.
The decision by Multiplex Associations not to release any Hindi film, including dubbed versions, in national chains (PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis) if it premieres on OTT before eight weeks of theatrical release prompted the makers to delay the OTT release for the Hindi version.
Despite the delay, the dubbed version has performed exceptionally well, earning approximately 150 crores net, even in competition with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Prithviraj Sukumaran played a significant role in this action-packed drama.

Netflix had announced the digital release on Valentine’s Day by unveiling the poster on its official Instagram account, stating, “Pack your bags! After a Dunki around the world, SRK is coming home.
