In a recent turn of events that has caught the attention of the online community, Bigg Boss OTT 2 victor Elvish Yadav found himself embroiled in controversy following a conflict with Delhi-based YouTuber Sagar Thakur, popularly known as Maxtern. Amidst the unfolding drama, Manisha Rani, the acclaimed winner of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 11 and a former contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 2 alongside Yadav, made a significant move by unfollowing him on Instagram. This action signals a notable distancing amidst the controversy.
The dispute that has thrust Yadav into the limelight involved a physical altercation with Maxtern in Gurugram. Circulating video footage allegedly captures Yadav in the act of assaulting the YouTuber, raising serious allegations against him. In a distressing revelation through a video message on his official X account, Sagar Thakur recounted the incident, claiming that Yadav and his entourage, who were allegedly inebriated at the time, assaulted him and hurled abuses, with Yadav purportedly attempting to cause him severe spinal injury.
Following the incident, Thakur took legal steps by filing a complaint against Yadav and his associates at the Sector 53 Police Station on Friday night. The complaint led to the registration of a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including those related to riots, unlawful assembly, causing harm, and criminal intimidation.
This controversy has not only affected Yadav’s relationships within the entertainment industry but has also sparked discussions about the impact of such disputes on the personal and professional lives of public figures.
