Can a murderer be spotted merely by their appearance? The question itself is intriguing, hinting at the notion that killers don’t bear any distinct marks separating them from ordinary individuals. This unsettling reality brings us to ‘Murder Mubarak’, a film where anyone could be celebrating their heinous acts in secrecy.
Homi Adajania’s latest film, ‘Murder Mubarak’, unfolds a complex murder mystery wrapped in a web of humor and suspense, promising to engage audiences with its unique narrative. With its trailer launch this Tuesday, the film is already creating buzz for its unconventional blend of genres.
The three-minute trailer introduces us to ACP Bhavani Singh’s daunting challenge: solving a murder at the Royal Delhi Club, where every guest is a potential suspect. Mirroring the intrigue of a classic Agatha Christie mystery, the trailer sets the stage for a murder mystery with a comedic twist.
Following his previous hit, ‘Angrezi Medium’, Adajania returns with ‘Murder Mubarak’, marking his sixth directorial venture. The film boasts a stellar cast, featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, and Suhail Nayyar in significant roles.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner, the film is the result of the collaborative writing efforts of Gazal Dhaliwal and Suprotim Sengupta. ‘Murder Mubarak’ is set to captivate viewers on Netflix from March 15, following the production house’s earlier release this year, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, featuring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor.
