The actor’s dedication to his role has left a lasting impression, as revealed by one of his co-stars in the film. She shared how Allu Arjun immersed himself so deeply into his character that he avoided speaking to anyone on set for two days.
Actress Aanchal Munjal, who worked alongside Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2, spoke to Hindustan Times about her experience of collaborating with him.
Didn’t Speak for Two Days
Aanchal revealed, “Initially, for the first two days, I thought he was arrogant and that’s why he wasn’t talking to anyone. But soon, he opened up and mingled with everyone. He’s very humble. I realized later that he wasn’t talking to anyone because he was so deeply into his character. His dedication is truly something else because when you see him on set, you don’t see Allu Arjun; you only see Pushpa.”
Why Aanchal Agreed to Pushpa 2
When asked why she said yes to the film, Aanchal explained, “I don’t think anyone needs a reason to say yes to a film like Pushpa. The world knows it’s a massive franchise. Being a part of it is a matter of pride.”
Deleted Scenes
Talking about her scenes being cut from the film, Aanchal said, “Unfortunately, due to the length of the film, some of my scenes were removed. It’s sad because those scenes were really fun to shoot.” She added, “Honestly, I saw it coming. I remember Sukumar sir mentioning during the shoot that the film was getting longer than expected. I was prepared for it if it happened.”
